Deployment Date: December 2025
Project Location: Sai Wan, Hong Kong
On December 19, 2025, Leyden Power deployed its versatile CAPSULE 115 Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Sai Wan Ka Wai Man Road construction site, supporting Sun Fook Kong (SFK) Construction’s building project. As the on-site operator, Leyden Power configured the single-unit CAPSULE 115 with diesel generator input to reliably power CCTV surveillance and lighting systems.

The CAPSULE 115 model delivers compact, efficient energy storage tailored for construction demands, seamlessly handling variable loads from lighting and monitoring equipment while minimising fuel use and noise. The system ensures proper site security end-to-end, despite it’s grid-less location.

Building on the success of the CAPSULE, SFK expanded its on-site energy infrastructure in May 2026 with the addition of a NAVY CUBE 400 (400 kW/633 kWh). With greater output and capacity, the CUBE extends the role of battery systems beyond what the CAPSULE was handling, taking on heavier demands such as powering tower cranes. Together, the two units form a robust, complimentary energy setup, enabling Leyden Power to support SFK’s projects with both efficiency and sustainability.

This installation underscores Leyden Power’s role in bolstering Hong Kong’s infrastructure growth, particularly in high-density areas like Sai Wan, where stable auxiliary power is essential for compliance and productivity.
Building on our proven track record—from Kai Tak sites to hospital reconstructions—Leyden Power continues to innovate with BESS solutions that reduce environmental impact and operational costs. Our partnership with Sun Fook Kong highlights how advanced energy tech drives safer, greener construction.
